Thinking back on the games I used to play and drawing inspiration from them, I wanted to create a simple, chill farming game for this assignment. This game allows you to plant your own crops and then harvest them when they're ready. Everyone starts with 5 seeds per crop (5 crops), and the goal is to grow your seed count as high as you can. The crops grow at varying rates and yield varying amounts to reflect realism and slight unpredictability. I had high aspirations for this project, but due to time constraints, I wanted to get basic functionality down and expand on the game later. Adding additional screens for variety, character selection, shop, and more opportunities for personalization are all ways I'd like to expand on this project, given more time.
